Accelerate application maintenance upgrades with Generative AI

At AWS re:Invent 2024, we attended DOP209 - Accelerate application maintenance and upgrades with generative AI. This session was excellent.

1. An internal Amazon team of five people upgraded 1,000 production applications from Java 8 to Java 17 in just 2 days[3].

2. On average, it took only 10 minutes to upgrade each application, with the longest upgrade taking less than an hour[3].
