AWS Think Big for Small Business Program

At the time of writing, AllCode recently entered AWS’ Think Big for Small Business Program, granting us better reach in the public sector. This article is meant to review what that means for our potential clients and how they can benefit from working with partners of the Think Big for Small Business Program.

More Options Made Available to the Public Sector

As various non-profit, educational, and government organizations look to build projects and solutions on the cloud, they will invariably need help overseeing construction and delivering those solutions.  What the Think Big for Small Business Program seeks to do is provide greater visibility for potential partners who would otherwise go overlooked.  Not only are partners in this program made more visible to clients, but they are given a degree of additional AWS Competency.

What to Expect from Us

Shared Knowledge

This will help maintain projects on AWS once any collaboration between the business and the organization concludes.  At AllCode, we have a number of AWS experts with a range of expertise in both certifications in the cloud and past experience working on other projects and applications for other companies.  As AWS is a complicated platform to work on, having any passed-on knowledge for later augmentations and maintenance of the project will ensure it continues to remain a cost-effective solution for the organization to use.  Such shared knowledge can also provide insight into how to continue developing as an organization with cloud-based operations.

Network of Small Teams

Indirectly, public-sector organizations can also hope to learn from other experts and small businesses within the field who have similar or relevant expertise.  Even if we lack all the necessary certification needed to see a project vision completely through, we also have a number of leads and industry connections to help prepare the necessary team for the job. That being said, we do have a diverse team each with extensive knowledge of the platform, so we should be able to keep any project relatively in-house.

aws public sector for small business

Cost Effectiveness

By working collaboratively, the public sector can have a better chance of bringing on board both all the necessary experts and AWS cloud resources.  On the notion of interconnectedness between partners within the Think Big for Small Business Program, different businesses can share their existing resources on AWS for project construction.  Resources on AWS can quickly become expensive and small businesses can overall cut back on development costs through shared server space and software licenses.  We and by extension our clients get to save on operational costs by needing to spend less on AWS resources overall.

Better Credibility

Through Amazon’s additional resources and training provided through the program, we will have better certifications and time spent working on the cloud.  Our status as Select AWS Partners ensures that we have acquired the necessary level of certified staff to support more advanced projects on Amazon’s Cloud.  Furthermore, can invest more into innovating and better technology with funding provided to us for a better overall workspace on AWS.

Making More with Less

As partners of the AWS Think Big for Small Business Program, we are now granted more resources to make ourselves more visible to prospecting customers and to put ourselves on par with developers that either have bigger teams or more resources to use.  With the tools and funding provided to us by our affiliates, our applications are well-architected and built in line with security standards and regulatory requirements relative to your industry or field of work.  If there is a need for a cloud solution, we would readily accept a public contractDon’t forget to check out our press releases for more information:
