The goal of any venture is to increase the accessibility of AWS and accelerate adoption by streamlining cloud operations, improving overall efficiency, and reducing operating costs within the cloud.   AWS provides a number of services that the public sector typically needs, such as data storage, computing capabilities, analytics, machine learning and AI, and the security necessary to defend these infrastructures.  In addition to solution development, partners will provide additional services, support, and training for public-sector staff over the course of the solution’s life cycle.

For government-affiliated entities within the US, AWS has established a unique cloud region with specific security attributes designed to meet compliance requirements imposed by the US government agencies and any affiliated contractors.  This also comes with a package of training and support resources along with access to documentation and other AWS experts to expedite the cloud adoption process.
