AWS Snowflake Data Warehouse – or just Snowflake – is a data cloud built for users to mobilize, centralize, and process large quantities of data. Regardless of how many sources are connected to Snowflake or the user’s preferred type of organized data used, data is easily stored and controllably shared with selectively-authorized access. Snowflake does offer extensive control over its pricing, though how it works isn’t always clear.

Amazon does provide a myriad of ways to shave off additional costs while also making customers’ AWS environments more efficient.
Cloud infrastructure has much faster agility and responsiveness compared to more traditional IT solutions. As resources will be considerably more expendable, there will be a greater tolerance for failures. However, cloud infrastructure does require a strong combination of IT governance and organizational governance to ensure a cloud environment is both agile and safe. Finding that balance can be a significant challenge.
