AWS DevOps Competency Partners

AWS Partners with sufficient certification and several successful client cases can apply to different paths in the AWS Competency Program.  AllCode was recently promoted through AWS’ DevOps Competency.

Why Use an AWS Partner?

After becoming an AWS Advanced Tier Services partner, AllCode developed into an AWS DevOps Competency Partner. With this new designation comes an expanded catalog of services we can extend to customers involving cloud provisioning, code deployment, software release automation, performance monitoring, and managing CI/CD pipelines safely, securely, and with best practices in mind. Amazon enforces strict guidelines for companies to meet to acquire this partnership level.

AWS has the tools and services to let customers build solutions at scale to provide either minor adjustments to cost-efficiency and scalability or to expand the customers’ reach to other regions. Members of the Amazon Partner Network have access to the AWS Competency Program depending on their certification and knowledge of the technology and industry AWS requires, making them more valuable to potential clients. The partner will need to withstand a litany of tests from external auditors to verify they can deliver DevOps solutions on AWS with successful deployments of solutions to multiple clients.

Regardless of our projects’ scope, all our clients receive CI/CD evaluation and assistance using both AWS and third-party tools dedicated to DevOps, including AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, BitBucket Runner, and GitHub Actions.

Examples of our Success

URComped

URComped is a third-party marketing company providing casino and cruise offerings to customers. Casinos can approach their platform with images and details for URComped to evaluate.

Along with achieving SOC 2 Compliance, we were approached to improve URComped’s CI/CD as part of our AWS Well-Architected Framework Review (WAFR) process. We redeployed the application using AWS’ container services and integrated it with both AWS’ in-house tools and third-party software to help with the continued maintenance of the platform. The migration process required us to relocate the app to an AWS Control Tower environment, which proved surprisingly challenging.

Let’s Play Soccer

Let’s Play Soccer (LPS) is one of our ongoing clients with whom we still work frequently.

They provide a scheduler platform for in-door soccer facilities and wanted to upgrade past their old Excel spreadsheet solution.
Both the back and front end had to be fully rebuilt using Spring Boot and Java, respectively, and the authentication had to be reimplemented. Their system was also integrated with a more robust SQL server, providing data accuracy and fast updates and better security and protection of their customers’ personal information. We help deliver their app on a website and mobile devices.
